This truly is an amazing piece dating back to the early 1800s. Hand
made by mastercraftsmen in Great Britain, probably as a tea / card
table, possibly foyer table. Somewhere along the line it was cut
down to cocktail / coffee table height and had some refit and
reinforcement work so now it's a strong sturdy piece, ready
to stand up to everyday use. You can't honestly say that
about most 200 year old pieces of furniture. The fine burl
of the Honduran Mahogany and the intricate Satinwood
inlays are a sight to behold. Rare does a piece of this
size and shape come along. We keep hearing that the
pics don't do this piece any justice, in person it's
