MAHOGANY SHERATON SALEM CHEST 200 y/o

This amazing chest dates back to about 1810 and as the pics attest it's 
in very nice condition for something that's 200 years old. Just look at 
those wonderful cookie cutter corners atop the fluted columns. And, 
it is certainly sturdy and stable enough to be used although we really 
think it would make a much better hall chest or console than a daily 
dresser. And, as anyone who's familiar with antiques knows it 
would be more surprising if this piece didn't have some 
distractions. The most glaring are the English Arts & 
Crafts drawer pulls are definately not what was on it
originally. Pieces like this in perfect condition can be 
easily found with prices in the $4000 range. We feel 
what we're asking fairly represents its condition and 
that it's a small price to pay for this slice of history.
