This wonderful piece recently came to us from a huge Victorian Estate in Newton. Our art expert dates it back to about 1890 and it was done buy the artist / sculptor E. Castelucci. The bust itself is solid marble, the pedestal is alabaster...all together she stands better over 5 feet tall! This is a once in a lifetime kind of piece that one rarely ever see's outside of the major cities of the work, never mind suburban Boston!
